Kaylee and I originally connected through Facebook, and I was so excited when she reached out about doing a couples adventure session with her boyfriend, Ethan. They recently got their first apartment together down in Utah, and they were wanting to celebrate the occasion and get some photos to hang in their new place. Kaylee knew she wanted the gorgeous backdrop of the Tetons, so her and Ethan traveled out from Star Valley last Friday evening to meet me. Although it’s October and we were expecting fall colors, there were quite a few patches of snow instead. Many of the leaves had already come off their branches, but a few orange patches remained that we took advantage of. I loved the time we were able to spend with Kaylee and Ethan celebrating this occasion with them.
If you’re looking to elope in Grand Teton National Park or book an adventure session, something to note is that winter can come early in the Tetons! The last week of September and first week of October are the prime time to come! Snow has been falling since September in Jackson Hole, but it dusts the mountains perfectly, creating a dreamy backdrop.
