How much does elopement photography in The Dolomites Cost?
Elopement photography in the Dolomites starts at €7200. Every elopement photography package includes a gallery of high-resolution images that you have full download and print access to, as well as custom location guides, planning calls, timeline building, questionnaires, travel fees, and my local expertise.
Adding videography with Scott is also available. You can see the full breakdown on our pricing page.
Can we legally get married in the Dolomites as foreigners?
Yes, but it can be complicated so we don't recommend it. The majority of couples choose to legally marry before or after their trip, then exchange personal vows during their elopement. Legal ceremonies in the Dolomites typically involve a lot of bureaucratic paperwork, and often must take place at a designated civil registry, with limited options in nature.
If you do want to legally marry during your elopement, we recommend working with a professional service to handle the paperwork.
Are the Dolomites LGBTQ+ Friendly for elopements and weddings?
LGBTQ+ weddings are not yet legalized in Italy, despite Italy has allowing same-sex civil unions since 2016. If you’d like to legally marry in a stunning place as an LGBTQ+ couple, we recommend considering Austria. Otherwise, you can still symbolically marry in the Dolomites, no matter who you love. Many LGBTQ+ couples elope in the Dolomites and have a positive experience.
We work in places where you can feel free and safe to be yourself, and with LGBTQ+ friendly vendors.
dO wE nEED A PERMIT TO ELOPE IN THE dOLOMITES?
Generally, no. With that being said, some locations require pre-booking, such as the Lago di Braies Boathouse and parking at Rifugio Auronzo/Tre Cime. Other hot spot locations such as Seceda are also becoming increasingly fenced off, and require pre-reserving a cable car time. Overtourism is currently a major point of discussion in the Dolomites, and eloping couples will have a much better experience at lesser-known, off-the-beaten path locations that allow for privacy and flexbility.
Can we elope with guests?
Yes. Elopements can include guests, typically 10-15 people (sometimes more for micro weddings). If you’re inviting loved ones, we often recommend extended or multi-day coverage so you can enjoy both private time and time with family or friends without feeling rushed. For groups of 8+, we recommend securing a small venue due to land usage constraints.
How far in advance should we plan Our Elopement in THE dOLOMITES?
We recommend reaching out 12–15 months ahead if you want the best date and vendor availability. With that being said, we’ve helped couples plan elopements anywhere from 48 hours (one of our proudest moments!) to 18 months in advance.

We’re not full-service planners, but we provide extensive planning support as part of our photography and videography packages, including location guidance, timelines, vendor recommendations, and detailed planning resources.
For couples who want vendors booked for them or on-the-ground coordination for micro weddings, we offer an optional full-service planning add-on with a trusted local planner.
