While we love capturing your favorite memories, those images are simply a way to revisit the day later. The real value is in how it feels to exist in this place together — breathing mountain air, moving through the day intentionally, and letting the landscape quiet everything else.
That’s why everything we do is built around supporting your experience first. We’re always thinking about how to make the day feel more meaningful, the planning more enjoyable, the trail more manageable— and the entire trip more like you.
An elopement gives you the chance to spend the day side-by-side — from the first second you open your eyes to the hazy moments at the end of the night — without distractions or expectations pulling you away from each other.
Whether that looks like hiking to a scenic overlook, relaxing by a mountain lake, sharing a helicopter ride, or simply sitting still and reveling in your day, your day is shared around what feels good to you.
From wildflower meadows and sweeping alpine views to deep blue lakes and star-filled skies, the outdoors offer a natural sense of wonder. It’s the best way to stay grounded in the moment and remind you why this place matters.
From the very beginning, she made the entire planning process feel effortless. Every detail was so thoughtfully organized. We were unsure where to even start, but Christine was there every step of the way with guidance. The day of our wedding was peaceful, beautiful, and completely stress-free. Christine, thank you for making our elopement unforgettable.
There’s nothing we love more than traveling off the beaten path. And with our custom location guides, you’ll have the chance to say “I do” surrounded by space, stillness, and awe-inspiring scenery.
After 7+ years of working with adventurous couples like you, we’ve learned some things. And we took all that knowledge and packed it into our exclusive planning guide, just for you.
As Americans living in the Alps, we know how important it is to work with vendors who make you feel confident and understood. Use our guide to find every English-speaking pro you need on your elopement team.
We want you to feel confident and comfortable at all times. So whether you’re having stress dreams about missing your flight or you’re worried about the hike, let us know. We’re there to support you every step of the way.
We want to know you, not just meet you. And to learn about all the ins and outs of what matters to you, we’ll send personalized questionnaires your way so we can plan the day you’ve been dreaming of.
Quite frankly, the details are none of your business. (Well, they are. But you know what we mean). Instead of stressing about the logistics of your trip, you get to leave all of that to us while you focus on the excitement of getting married.
“We wish we could go back and freeze time on our wedding day, but our photos will always allow us to relive the happiest moments of our lives”.
This package is for couples who are all in on the Alps elopement experience — not just the adventure itself, but a complete record of it from start to finish.
Across two days, we’ll explore the mountains, celebrate your new chapter, and fully document each moment as it happens.
This package is designed for couples who want time to experience all the mountains have to offer. Stay overnight in a mountain hotel or hut, take in the sunrise, or enjoy stargazing in the alpine. You can do it all by splitting your coverage between two half-day adventures so you never have to choose just one.
Our most popular package, created to give you the freedom to shape your day around the moments you want to experience.
Whether that looks like a slow breakfast, time on the water, a picnic by the lake, a morning hike with vows, sunset views, or a celebratory dinner with loved ones, the day is completely yours.
The perfect package for couples who want a focused, meaningful experience without planning the entire day.
Take an incredible helicopter ride to a private ceremony spot, have a sunrise first look, or say your vows surrounded by an alpine meadow—no matter what you choose, you’ll have plenty of “just the two of us” time to enjoy.
*Please note, this package cannot be booked more than 6 months in advance*
This package is ideal for couples who want a simple, intimate way to exchange vows in an awe-inspiring place.
Think cable car ride up the mountain, quiet ceremony at the top, some meaningful photos to mark the moment, capped off with a champagne toast. It’s a relaxed, low-key option that allows you to have fun together.
Beyond her talent behind the camera, her warm and friendly nature made the whole experience feel like we were spending the day with a close friend rather than a photographer. We can’t recommend Made in the Mountains enough!
She’ll help coordinate local vendors, arrange experiences like helicopter tours, and secure a venue when needed with the same thoughtful, calm approach we bring to every elopement.
Both options are offered exclusively to our couples and can be added to any photo or photo + video package. Vendor, venue, and activity costs are separate and paid directly by the couple.
For many couples, our built-in planning support is more than enough. For others, peace of mind looks like having every detail handled with a white glove level of service.
That’s why we’re now offering an optional planning add-on with our trusted local partner, Vanessza. Working with her will allow you to step from the logistics so you can focus on fully enjoying your engagement season.
Perfect for elopements or intimate celebrations with simple setup, where you want expert planning support without the need for on-site coordination.
Vanessza will coordinate every detail leading up to your day, ensuring all vendors are aligned and everything runs smoothly so you can focus on enjoying your adventure.
She’ll help coordinate local vendors, arrange experiences like helicopter tours, and secure a venue when needed with the same thoughtful, calm approach we bring to every elopement.
Perfect for micro weddings, or couples who want someone physically present to manage every last detail in real time.
This is the most hands-off option we offer, and is designed for couples who want to move through the day with total ease.
Absolutely! Many couples contact us before anything is decided. During your consultation, we’ll talk through your vision, priorities, and what kind of outdoor experience you’re drawn to. Then, we’ll help you narrow down a region and season that makes sense.
Once you’re booked, we guide you through location selection in depth. You’ll receive a detailed questionnaire, and Christine will create a custom location guide based on your preferences — including scenery, accessibility, seasonality, and how much (or little) walking you’d like to do.
If you’re still early in the process, we’re happy to help you narrow down a general region on a consultation call.
Most couples choose full-day coverage (up to 12 hours) or two-day coverage for a slower, more relaxed pace. This allows time for multiple locations, unhurried moments, and space to fully experience the outdoors.
Half-day coverage is also available for more focused celebrations.
Yes. Elopements can include guests, typically 10-15 people (sometimes more for micro weddings). If you’re inviting loved ones, we often recommend extended or multi-day coverage so you can enjoy both private time and time with family or friends without feeling rushed. For groups of 8+, we also recommend securing a small venue.
Most couples don’t. Many choose to legally marry before or after their trip, then exchange vows during their elopement day. Legal ceremonies abroad can be complex and often must take place at a civil registry, not in nature.
If you do want to legally marry during your elopement, we recommend working with a professional service to handle the paperwork.
We’ve helped couples plan elopements anywhere from 48 hours (one of our proudest moments!) to 18 months in advance. Because we work with a limited number of couples each year, we recommend reaching out 12–15 months ahead if you want the best date availability.
If you’re thinking about eloping in the Alps, you may be wondering, ‘’when is the best time to elope in the Alps?’’. The Alps aren’t a single destination though, with four neat seasons. In reality, it’s a range of mountains that spans across eight countries, with dozens of different climates. In some regions, winter can […]

We blend true-to-life documentation of your day with creative techniques that reflect the scale, movement, and magic of your elopement in the mountains.
At any given time, you’ll find us enjoying the same spaces we encourage you to explore — hiking familiar trails, chasing the best hidden spots, soaking up the sun, and admiring the stars.
And that closeness shapes how we plan, how we work, and how we show up — with deep respect for these landscapes, an understanding of how to move through them safely, and an appreciation for the awe they naturally create.
Remember, you don’t have to know it all to take the first step. That’s what we’re here for.
Together, we’ll navigate the ins and outs of planning your dream Alps elopement, and help your transition into married life feel like the adventure it is.
